Salary: NEG. Depending on experience

3D Personnel’s client is a one of Ireland’s largest and most ambitious home developers with plans to develop 500  homes through-out Ireland every year for the  next year 5-10 years.  

 

3DPersonnel’s client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Foreman to be based in the Dublin area. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will manage the day to day operations of the site. The successful candidate will be experienced in working in large scale main contractors / developers and will have experience on large residential sites.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • The construction of a residential scheme from greenfield through to completion
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Management of H&S on site to ensure highest standards are maintained
  • Liaise and communicate closely with the design team and other stakeholders
  • Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of materials, completing the online daily site diary and relevant weekly documentation in accordance with company policy
  • Carry out company compliance and administration procedures and recording performance and progress of site operations and subcontractors
  • Ensure all employees and site visitors comply with all Health and Safety obligations

Requirements:

  • Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification (or relevant trade experience)
  • 10+ years’ site management experience on residential projects
  • Proven record of seen projects through from greenfield to completion
  • Background in residential developments essential
  • Experienced of managing multiple residential contracts
  • Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and a methodical nature are key
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
