Vacancy: Junior Quantity Surveyor   - Developer

Location: North county Dublin

Salary: €40K - €45K DOE 

3D Personnel’s client is a leading large developer, they have been undertaking operations for the past 20 years and have gained a reputation for delivering projects on time on budget and to the highest standards, with seven live sites through-out Dublin they are currently experiencing a large amount of expansion.

3D Personnel’s client is currently seeking to recruit a junior Quantity Surveyor to be based in the Dublin area. The successful candidate will be working within Irelands leading home developer with a view to construct 2000 homes is 2018. The successful candidate will have at 1-2 yrs experience in undertaking residential projects within a medium to large sized main contractor/ developer.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with or prepare monthly applications
• Working closely with Finance & Commercial in maximising profit on the contracts
• Reviewing weekly productivity of teams.
• Undertaking interim and final valuations for works complete
• To manage work in progress and ensuring debtors are kept to a minimum
• Ensuring all subcontractors are contractually tied in e.g. insurance details, retention, etc.
• Preparation of all sub contracts.
• Monitoring / scrutinising of weekly costs and productivities, and reporting on same
• Highlighting areas of concern / loss on any part of the contract
• Oversee all contractual issues
