Our client is one of Ireland’s & the UK’s leading general building contractors. The company’s vast portfolio spans from traditional building contracts, new builds, civils and groundworks, to the design and build of large scale landmark developments, mainly within Sport, Leisure and Stadia.
Currently they are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North Dublin.
As Project Quantity Surveyor your Role will include:
Supervise Junior Quantity Surveyors in their daily duties
Budget control and pre-agreement of accounts
Maintain accurate records to assist in preparation of valuations and cost value reconciliation sheets
Undertake cost investigations as required
Measurement and agreement of subcontract accounts
Identification, measurement and agreement of variation
Monitoring of monthly cash flow in comparison to budgeted cash flow
Advice to management on contractual matters
Measurement and agreement of Project Final Accounts
Attend and give financial reports at site meetings & Prepare subcontractor payments accurately in accordance with VAT procedure
Provide monthly cost/valuation (CVR) information for costing purposes and quarterly for management accounts within the specified time scales.
Other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business
5-10 years experience with an established Main Contractor with a proven track record
Ideally Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying
Excellent communication and IT Skills
