Job Board Media is working on behalf of a large construction company who are seeking to hire an Accountant for their Dublin Based office:
Maintaining financial records.
Processing of purchase and sales invoices
Dealing with Accounts Payable and Receivable
Maintaining the General Ledger including Journal Entries
Importing of data through to Sage
Assist in the processing of weekly Wages
Processing of bank lodgements and bank reconciliations
Production of weekly and monthly reports including P&L, Sales reports and costing analysis
Preparation of quarterly commission reports
Enhancement of current reporting process by identifying opportunities to streamline and standardise existing reports and procedures
Liaise with external auditors where necessary
Ensuring the smooth running of the office on a daily basis
Provide support and cover to the other staff members as required.
Skills and Experience
Self starter and ability to multitask
Microsoft Excel Expert Level
Highly numerate with very strong attention to detail
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
Well-developed communication skills
Experience in the Construction Industry an advantage
High level of Sage Line 50 experience
5 years experience in a similar position
Fine Edge Design
Must Have relevant experience of spraying within a joinery environment.
Be able to demonstrate efficient use of spray guns, be able to prepare and mix materials required and to set up all spray booth equipment.
Be able to prioritise work to detailed written specification.
Colour matching to samples
Excellent housekeeping in the spray shop
Have very high attention to detail.
Candidates should be motivated to produce a quality finish to deadlines.
Fine Edge Design
Responsible for the overall management and control of all related production areas and Managing all production related activities on a daily basis.
Responsibility for effective production scheduling in line with required delivery dates provided.
Quality control and management – ensuring manufactured product is up to the required standard
Ensure all jobs are completed within set timescales and agreed delivery dates are met.
Factory Maintenance – ensuring all equipment is operated and maintained to the highest levels.
Manufacturing experience of working in a busy workshop.
Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman/Supervisor or of managing a team.
Knowledge of woodworking machinery.
Knowledge of spray finishing processes.
Knowledge and understanding of reading and working to Architects drawings.
Keen eye for detail – quality control is essential
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, working to tight deadlines and ensuring delivery dates are met
Ability to multi-task, working on multiple jobs and prioritising
Ability to communicate at all levels, approachable and flexible
Good leadership skills and motivator of staff
Ability to produce and maintain schedules to coordinate with jobs as they are handed over for manufacturing
